HAMILTON, Ontario - July 14th, 2016 -

A memorable birthday celebration for Vrancor President & CEO Darko Vranich was held as the company finalized the acquisition of two hotels originally built by Vrancor in 1999 and 2008 respectively. "As we continue to pursue our smart-growth strategy, we are especially proud to welcome two award-winning hotels to Vrancor Group that are widely recognized as top performers within Oakville.” said Darko Vranich, President & CEO, Vrancor Group. “We take great pride in creating a sense of uniqueness and individuality for each of our properties and are excited to expand our footprint of hotels within the Golden Horseshoe area to create inspiring, award-winning environments” said Vranich.

The region known as the Golden Horseshoe is among the most densely populated and industrialized in Canada. With a population exceeding 9.5 million people, the Golden Horseshoe makes up over 25 per cent of Canada’s overall population and contains more than 68 per cent of Ontario's population, making it one of the largest population concentrations in North America. The area has a greater population than the entire province of Quebec or the three Prairie Provinces combined.
